Biltong Bagel

Bagels with cream cheese, good. Bagels with cream cheese AND Ember biltong? Even better. This recipe created by Sarah Southern (@sairylou_eats) is the perfect quick, simple and, satisfying lunch.

Sarah says, "We all know Ember biltong snacks is the perfect snack, but it’s also worthy of way more than that!"

Prep time: 10 mins

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 sesame seed or plain bagel

  • 1 pack of Ember original biltong

  • 1 handful of rocket

  • 1/2 large tomato

  • 45g cream cheese (more if you’re feeling indulgent)

  • Seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bagel and let it cool

  2. Thinly slice the tomato

  3. Spread the cream cheese on both sides of the bagel

  4. Add the pack of biltong to the bottom half of the bagel

  5. Place the sliced tomato on top of the biltong and season

  6. Grab a handful of rocket and place on top of the sliced tomato

  7. Put the lid on and enjoy!
